SALAM ALEIKUM ALLEMAGNE
COURAGE
In the course of the presidential elections in Belarus in the summer of 2020, three actors from an underground theatre in Minsk get caught up in the maelstrom of mass protests. They are drawn to the wide streets of Minsk to protest vociferously for freedom of speech and the long-awaited change of power. But the people's voice is brutally crushed by the regime's security apparatus. Members of the theatre group and many other people get arrested. The country is on the brink of civil war. COURAGE accompanies the courageous and peaceful resistance of Maryna, Pavel and Denis before and during the protests. The film takes a very personal look at the events and thus provides a close and gripping insight into the lives of people in today's Belarus who are fighting for their freedom and the right to democracy.

In order to fight her fears and defend herself from danger she believes in being able to get invisible by closing her eyes.

MURCHE (PERSIAN: ANTS)
Reza and Laila, two immigrants in Germany, remember the time when they had to flee with their family as children. The harsh circumstances soon ensured they lost their innocence. Now they try to hold onto the beautiful things they also experienced, like the games they played. Dreamy, poetic fiction about memories of childhood.
SALAM ALEIKUM ALLEMAGNE
SALAM ALEIKUM ALLEMAGNE accompanies the EU resettlement programme aimed at granting asylum to and resettling refugees from Iraq. The programme envisages planned integration. But getting accustomed to a completely new culture and society is not easy. The director accompanies the refugees from the time of their arrival in Germany up to the point of settlement in their new places of residence. The film gives a deep and personal insight into the everyday lives of people traumatised by war. Six year-old Schams masters her first steps at school. Waleed learns German after meeting a young woman... But the war in their homeland goes on, and while they are fortunately living in Germany, the killing of their family members and friends still continues in Iraq.
